Sam Nerrie's iconic prints of the south-east and regional Australia have gained her many international awards. Through her varied genres she seeks to document and highlight the glamorous and unique moments in the Australian landscape as well as the quirky and the captivating moments. Understanding great lighting and composition are also predominant factors in why her work stands out of the international stage. Latest awards were for some photos representing the fires and the droughts we have endured and one award was for  a dusk photo of Mahon's Pool in Sydney after a storm passed through. 2 Honourable Mentions in the International Photography Awards and 1 Nominee award in the Black and White Spider Awards 2020.

The first photo was taken on Moreton Island on the beach at Bulwer where a ship was grounded many years ago. The other photo was taken at Mulligans Flat Woodlands Sanctuary on a chilly winter's morning with a beautiful soft mist floating around the trees.
